Flowery Branch borders the cities of Oakwood and Buford and also touches on Lake Lanier and is located just over forty miles from Atlanta with easy access via I-985/85. Flowery Branch has maintained a picturesque historic downtown and many of the original buildings in the historic central business district still exist and have been rehabilitated and repurposed. Flowery Branch’s is one of the only Georgia historic downtowns on a lake. It is very close to several marinas, including Aqualand and Hideaway Bay. This waterfront access and its location within the Northeast Georgia Mountain region are a large potential draw for outdoor recreational enthusiasts. For lakefront dining you also have two incredible waterfront establishments, Fish Tails at Hideaway Bay and Pig Tails located at Aqualand.
